I have 1970's pictures of the House and frequent visitors (including Mr. Fisher in a striking pose with dazzling red sneakers) as well as shots from a recent reunion that I can burn to CD and bring to the next reunion.
My original plan was to compile everything in this Blog and offer it at the reunion. The results will depend on finding the time to complete the project. Right now I feel fortunate when I actually get a blog entry written each week!
it was 1971. ran the jesus house, a gathering of long hairs in blue jeans doing radical things -- like playing guitar in worship. traipsed back and forth from california to bible college and did the seven year college plan. finally graduated. got ordained. got married. had two children. did the magical ecumenical tour -- preached in six denominations in two decades. moved cross country three times, spent a decade in san francisco, a few years in florida and now divide my time between ohio & michigan. along the way picked up an MA in theology.
still in ministry. still playing my gibson gospel guitar from the jesus house years. still love jesus.

Boy, those pictures bring back visceral memories!
Is all this stuff going to be compiled and published for sale for the reunion in May?
